Woodhall Spa 40s event festival photos and blog

I will get the photos that I took at the Woodhall Spa 40s event shortly. Am working on a blog or an article for the event. I am wearing a vintage St Micheal 40s style tea dress with daisy print. I have recycled this dress from 2018. Despite being in the vintage trade, I struggled to find a tea dress I wanted to wear. I also went as a Landgirl - this again is an outfit recycled from 2018. The top is vintage 70s folk but I think it works for 40s Landgirl.

Is The Cyber Mermaid based on Plenty of Fish / POF ?

https://books.google.co.uk/books/about/The_Cyber_Mermaid.html?id=KYYJAgAAQBAJ&printsec=frontcover&source=kp_read_button&redir_esc=y#v=onepage&q&f=false

This is now easy to find online, published in 2011. This took me 6 months to complete and then went through the lulu.com self-publishing process. At the time there was an alternative fish dating site - I think it was called 'Go Fishing' but I can't be certain.

Visited Bisco Camp on the 6th Feb to meet the Biscathorpe oil drilling protesters living there...

I visited the Bisco Camp on the 6th Feb to meet with the protesters living there. The 'gagging' of oil drilling protesters was recently featured as a news story on BBC Look North. The last photo is of the East Lindsey trail and you can see the rare chalk stream that runs through Biscathorpe in the background. Across the road is the back entrance to the oil drilling site. It is on farmland. There is other farmland within Biscathorpe that is organic.

Hedgehog pleads with East Lindsey District Planning Department

Nearly every day a giant concrete mixer arrives to concretize more and more of the Louth canal. So many of the local residents that I have spoken to feel betrayed by the East Lindsey District Council Planning department for allowing the destruction of wildlife habitat in favour of concretization and luxury homes.

The Biscathorpe Buzzard print and bookmark

Have seen some huge buzzards in Biscathorpe. It has been suggested that it might be buzzards that are responsible for ripping apart some of the 'protest' teddies that are stuck inside the metal fencing that is part of the security to the oil rig that is currently being set up in Biscathorpe, an area of outstanding natural beauty. I will get these printed out at my local printing shop and see how they turn out.
My bookmarks are available at The Crackpot, Queen's Street, in Louth.
