It appears that you can print out a certificate for every thing you do on the 'Skills Conditionality' training - an 8 week course that the Jobcentre Plus refer new jobseeker claimants onto.

Jobseekers cartoon number 3 to follow - got the ideas for it today - 17th April while attending job club in the afternoon. Will post in about one week.

Jobseeker Cartoon 2 ; Tick Box Exercise ; On The Government Work Programme

Drawn on 27 March 2013. I prefer the old terminology ie, 'job club' to the new stuff, ie, 'skills conditionallity' and 'The Government Work Programme'. The Cyber Mermaid is attending a college for 8 weeks since the first week of signing on. There is alot of ticking of boxes and the signing and dating of every sheet of paper used.

Not quite finished this cartoon but I might as well launch it into the cybersphere. I am currently working on a cartoon strip of jobseeker cartoons that will chart some of the changes being implicated by the government.
I will be providing more notes for this cartoon. Part of the The Cyber Mermaid cartoon blog.
New version posted - have removed the debt clock that featured in this cartoon as I haven't yet seen this cartoon appear in any of the Google image galleries - very strange !
