The Lady in the Van - Alan Bennett play at Louth Playgoers theatre

Managed to get exclusive backstage photos of the cast of The Lady in the Van, a play and film by Alan Bennett. Really enjoyed this at my local theatre, the Louth Playgoers. Fantastic performances and a great production. Such a shame this only ran for such a short period of time in April - deserved much longer. Am not really a theatre person but I loved this.

Nottingham Poetry Festival photos taken at Nottingham Writers' Studio 23 April 2017

Photos taken by Jane Air. Click on pics to enlarge. I was disappointed not to have gotten tickets in time to hear Carol Ann Duffy or Simon Armitage but did manage to catch poetry performances at Rough Trade and at the Word Jam event at the Nottingham Writers' Studio ( pics above ). Enjoyed the political poetry on Zambabwe.
From the online reviews I am keen to find the poem 'Tigguo Cobauc' by Rosie Garner about the caves of Nottingham.
