Notes : Story behind the workman's boot - a classmate of mine had asked the secretary of Job Club for a pair of steel capped workman's boots for his bin man induction day and ended up being given soft plastic shoes instead. My experience of Job Club was one of overcrowding, of computer wires dangling from a hole in the corner of the room and of not enough seats for bums. Click on pic to enlarge.

Big Brother 2013 cartoon posted online on 15 Sept 2013. This cartoon is inspired by the Big Brother of George Orwell's novel, 1984, rather than the Channel 4 reality tv show, Big Brother ( although the Big Brother eye jewellery ring on Cyber Mermaid's finger comes from the Big Brother eye earrings, rings and wrist warmers as worn by Lauren Harries in the reality TV show of 2013 ).
My notes for this cartoon and all the cartoons are to remain offline for now.
